Soapbox Project makes social impact easy for busy people! Since 2019, we've created a low-commitment, scalable social justice funnel for 4,000 people that includes bite-sized climate action plans, interactive events, fireside chats, and a digital community that emphasizes local action. Anyone with an internet connection can participate in making a meaningful difference towards causes they care about.
After hosting numerous fun, well-attended events like personalized zero-waste meal planning workshops, letter-writing to incarcerated people, anti-plastic dinner parties, and sustainable fashion panels, we've decided to combine the best of Soapbox into a series of mini launch fests. Think music festival vibes meets climate conference content.
For 2021, we're keeping things virtual. Our first launch fest will target SF Bay Area residents and its focus will be climate and community.
We would love to help your company demonstrate your commitment to the places your employees live and work — get involved with Soapbox Fest and be our partner in a more sustainable and equitable world!
Logistics & demographics: This event will take place in August 2021 over four hours (Tuesday 5-7pm PST and Wednesday 5-7pm PST; exact date pending speaker confirmations). We estimate 100-200 attendees between 20-30 years old who work in tech and business.
